Light, coll temperature, flower in summer.
Found in the Philippines and Taiwan in forests on tree trunks as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte at elevations of 100 to 600 meters with very slender canes that thicken for a short way towards the middle to form a small pseudobulb and then is narrow again for up to 10" and carries many, two ranked, leathery, pointed, flattened leaves and blooms in the summer on a short, successively single flowered inflorescence that arises from at or near the apex of leafless canes.
