Partial shade, intermediary to hot temperature, flower in winter and spring
Found in Colombia at elevations of 600 to 1600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with erect, slender, ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 thin, ribbed, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic-spathulate, rounded, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on a very congested, umbellate, simultaneously 5 to 9 flowered, 5.8" [1.5 cm] long, racemose inflorescence arising from above the middle of the ramicaul and has loose, imbricating, oblique floral bracts..
