Found in Panama and Colombia without collection data as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 thin, ribbed, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a very congested, .2" [5 mm] long, umbellate, simultaneously opening, 5 to 15 flowered inflorescence arising laterally above the middle of the ramicaul with loose, imbricating, oblique floral bracts.
