Partial shade, intermediary to hot temperature, flower in fall
An epiphytic, small sized, hot to warm growing, Philippine species occuring, on mossy tree trunks or as a lithophyte on rocks in full sun, at elevations above 1200 meters with clustered, narrowly conical, yellowish pseudobulbs carrying, a single, apical, oblong-lanceolate, acute, petiolate leaf with a prominent mid rib that blooms in the fall with a sharply pendant, 20" [50 cm] long, ovate bracteate inflorescence with ovate, subacute, glumaceous bracts and many fragrant flowers.
