This miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphytic species is endemic to the Phillipines, occuring at elevations of 600 to 2000 meters in montane forests with tapered pseudobulbs enveloped basally by persistent sheaths and carrying a single, apical, petiolate leaf with a prominent midvein that blooms on an gracefully arching, 6" [15 cm] long, many [50] flowered inflorescence that arises with a new growth.
