Full shade, intermediary to hot temperature, flower in fall
Found as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica at elevations around 180 to 1380 meters with a very short ramicaul carrying a single, apical, fleahy, narrowly triangular in cross-section, obtuse apically, gradually narrows below into the conduplicate, elongate petiolate base leaf and and blooms in the fall on an erect, fasciculcate, successively single flowered, 1 3/4" [4.5 cm] long, filiform inflorescence that is much longer than the leaf.
