Dendrochilum magnum




Partial shade, cool to intermediary temperature, flower in fall
Found in The Philippines in mossy forests at elevations of 1600 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elongate, pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying oblong lanceolate, tapering to the apex, conspicuously veined, narrows into the slender, elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an apical, erect then pendant, wiry, 50 cm long, many flowered inflorescence with the fragrant flowers arising in rank and file occuring in the spring and fall.
