Full shape, cool to intermediary temperature, flower all year
Found from Mexico to Venezuela as a warm to cool growing, miniature epiphyte that occurs in dry oak and pine forests with heavy summer rains and dry winters with low clouds and fog, at elevations of 700 to 2000 meters with an erect, stem carrying laterally compressed. conduplicate, linear-lanceolate, imbricating leaves and blooms on an apical, sessile, short, one to two flowered inflorescence with nodding successive opening flowers occuring at any time of the year. Potting in a fine medium and given moderate light cold to warm temperatures and year round moisture will ensure a healthy plant.
