Kefersteinia tolimensis

Full shade, intermediary to hot temperature, flower spring to fall
Found in the state of Tolima, Colombia, as well as Ecuador and Venezuela in dense cloud forests low down on tree trunks at elevations around 1300 to 2100 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a rather short sterm enveloped completely by distichous, imbricate, leaf bearing sheaths and carrying broadly oblanceolate to broadly oblanceolate, acute or slightly acuminate, long attenuate basally leaves giving rise to an axillary, erect to pendant, 8 to 13 cm long, single flowered inflorescence that blooms in the spring, summer and fall.
