Pleurothallis mathildae

Full shade, cold to coll temperature, flowers in spring
Found in Rio de Janiero state of Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered thin, erect ramicauls envelopd by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, oblanceolate, dark green, slightly coriaceous leaf that blooms in the spring on a thin, paniculate, 1.8" [4.5 cm] long, to 20 flowered inflorescence.
Inflorescences are paniculate and c. 3 times the length of the leaves. Plant thrives in cool to cold temps. No discerned scent. Comes from the high Atlantic rainforest.
